Really Social Strategies

Really Social Strategies is a boutique communications and new media consulting company founded by Heather Flournoy and Christopher Roberts. Based in northern Westchester County, NY we offer social media and creative marketing services that integrate with website, mobile and location based marketing. Did we mention that we infuse them with super powers?

Heather Flournoy

Heather has worked in marketing for 15 years, specializing in grassroots and niche market campaigns, writing, event organizing and content development.  She is past Managing Director of Vital Heath Publishing, an independent alternative health publisher now owned by Square One Publishers. She created a successful one-year, event-based touring campaign for The Renegade Health Show On the Road; the daily video blog of that tour has over 10,000 visitors per day. Heather maintains her own activist network, KatonahGreen.com, which includes a blog, a website an active Meetup group, a great Twitter following and Facebook page, all focused on sustainable living issues. She is a self-confessed social media addict connoisseur.

Christopher Roberts

Chris was a film and theater producer. His seven features include two Sundance Film Festival winners. In total, his films have 7 festival Grand Prizes among their total of 19 festival awards. He founded and ran the residential adobe theatre company in New York City for 13 years. In 2008, Chris decided to put his producing skills to work promoting his favorite causes: green collar entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, and new media education for disadvantaged youths. He co-founded Green Bronx Machine, an environmental activist social network hub for the South Bronx, and he serves (with Heather) on the Board of Slow Food Metro North.

In 2009, Heather and Christopher joined forces to open Really Social Strategies. With a mix of commercial and non-profit clients, RSS is dedicated to harnessing the unique power of social media to help artists, small businesses, and progressive causes promote their message.
